Work Schedule

  • Expected hours: 10–30 hours per week

  • Days of work: Weekdays, weekends, and holidays

  • Shift times: Morning and/or afternoon shifts

  • Start date: Flexible / As soon as available

Pay & Compensation

  • Hourly wage: $17.85 per hour

  • Pay frequency: Bi-weekly

  • Paid training: Yes

  • Tips: Shared when available

We are looking for: 

  • A strong passion for customer service and creating an exceptional guest experience

  • Genuine interest in art and hands-on creativity; comfortable working with materials and getting hands dirty

  • Organized and detail-oriented, able to prepare, set up, and maintain a clean, welcoming studio environment

  • Confident in a customer-facing role, including hosting guests and handling payments professionally

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with customers

  • Experience in hospitality or retail preferred

  • Solid understanding of retail operations, including cash handling, maintaining studio standards, and merchandise presentation

  • A self-starter who uses good judgment and can work independently when needed

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills in a workshop or group setting

  • Upbeat, optimistic, friendly, and passionate personality

  • Ability to understand customer needs and effectively guide them toward products, services, or experiences that suit them

Key Responsibilities

  • Workshop Instruction & Guest Experience
  • Guide and assist guests in all types of workshops in a clear, friendly, and confident manner

  • Create a welcoming, engaging, and enjoyable experience for all participants

  • Communicate effectively with guests, understand their needs, and provide thoughtful support throughout the session

Customer Service & Sales Support

  • Host guests professionally before, during, and after workshops

  • Handle cash and electronic payments accurately and responsibly

  • Build positive relationships with customers and encourage repeat visits

  • Recommend products, services, or workshop options when appropriate

Studio Setup & Operations

  • Prepare materials, tools, and workstations before each workshop

  • Maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and safety standards

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping,vacuuming, wiping surfaces, and maintaining shared areas

  • Restock and organize merchandise, art supplies, and workshop materials

Inventory & Physical Duties

  • Receive and assist with unloading incoming inventory and supplies

  • Carry and move boxes, furniture, and materials as needed

  • Ensure inventory and display items are well-presented and properly stored

General Support

  • Follow studio procedures and use good judgment in all situations

  • Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced yet creative environment
